Alright, well, if we can't have The Muppets, the most legendary man to ever host will have to do.
Billy Crystal has just announced via his Twitter that he will be hosting the Oscars this year. The news is on the heels of Eddie Murphy quitting the show after Brett Ratner was fired ... blah, blah, blah.
Billy posted for all the world to see:
"Am doing the Oscars so the young woman in the pharmacy will stop asking my name when I pick up my prescriptions. Looking forward to the show"
So is everyone else! You are the best, Billy. There is no question about that. And while we're bummed about The Muppets, we know you'll bring the a classy brand of entertainment that you are so well known for.
