Eric Bana To Hunt Vampires?
Last we heard about Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, Tom Hardy was in talks to star as Abe Lincoln's unlikely vampire partner-in-hunting Henry Sturges.
Now, it looks like there's some potentially big news: Eric Bana is in talks to play the President himself, Abraham Lincoln!
If Bana and Hardy team up to hunt vampires on the big screen [...]

Tony Romo & Candice Crawford Are Gettin’ Hitched!
After spending about 16 hours unconscious yesterday, I am happy to report that I am feeling a smidge better today. I’m not sure what the heck is going on but this is the second time I’ve come down with a 24-hour bug that really knocked me on my bum. Yesterday was a pretty hellacious day and the only way to not suffer was to be asleep. The body aches stopped at around 8PM last night but I slept the rest of the night away in the hopes that I would wake up refreshed. I wouldn’t say I’m feeling refreshed exactly but I am feeling a million times better. I’m deffo on the upswing and that is the best news ever. If I continue to keep feeling better, David and I are still planning to make our way to the Orpheum Theater in downtown LA to see Peaches live in concert:
I’ve been a fan of Peaches for many years now so I’m excited to see her live on stage again. She is performing a show titled Peaches Christ Superstar that I’ve heard is pretty fantastic to see. I’ve deliberately stayed away from any show spoilers so I’m really looking forward to seeing what she’s got in store for us. To be honest, if it weren’t for tonight’s show, I’d deffo be staying my ass in bed … but it’s Peaches. I gotta see this show.
And so … another Friday is upon us again. This weekend is the last weekend before Xmas so … I hope all y’all make the most of it! Happy Friday, Happy Weekend!!

Draco Hits Up Hogwarts!
Guess he was feeling a bit nostalgic!
Tom Felton was spotted right outside of Hogwarts castle today, chatting up Beauxbaton's chicks. Tom is in Orlando on vacay and made sure to visit the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
We're told he enjoyed throwing back a few Butterbeers and enjoying the attractions!
Cute.

$280,000 a year! $280K!!!
We wish we were joking about this!
This morning, Amber Portwood, one of the stars of Teen Mom, was ordered to appear before the Madison County magistrate for questioning after she was released on bail.
Now, lets make sure you get all the facts straight. This is a girl who got pregnant at 16, had a baby, was found by MTV and thrown on the air to give a "real" look at teenage motherhood. During the taping of an episode, she lost it and beat the hell out of her baby daddy, in front of her child. The footage aired on television and chaos ensued. She's now booked on two felony charges and a misdemeanor for domestic battery. This morning, she was released on bail.
Now, during her questioning, she was asked to provide her occupation and salary. She replied to the judge that she's a “television personality,” but then had her lawyer object to her having to state her salary. The judge insisted and that's when the world learned that the reality star now makes more money than most hard-working Americans, simply for being on television.
We can't imagine how this girl makes so much, yet still lives the way she does. Hope Leah has a college fund set up!

Harvard Gay Hate Crime Now Ruled An Accident!
What the hell?! This is absolutely awful!
About 40 books about gay and lesbian issues were recently reportedly thought to be vandalized in Harvard University's Lamont Library, after security staff discovered them covered in what appeared to be URINE on November 24th!
However, although it was originally being investigated as a hate crime, the university has [...]

Despite her reputation as a man of means, Arun Nayar will be getting paid big $$$$ from his soon-to-be ex-wife, Elizabeth Hurley. When the couple wed in 2007, the did not sign a pre-nuptial agreement, so he will get a large chunk of her £13million fortune.
"A pre-nup would have been a deal-breaker for Arun. He has his pride," claims a source.
But some people think he won't get too much!
"He would be very unlikely to get half Miss Hurley’s fortune because her assets were mainly acquired before their marriage," said London divorce lawyer Ayesha Vardag.

Noomi Rapace Trading 'Dragon Tattoo' For 'Alien' Prequel?
"Jackass 3D" won't be pooping and vomiting its way into theaters until October 15, but Johnny Knoxville already knows that the home video version, slated for release in December, is going to be awesome.
"Man, we filmed so much stuff. So much great stuff got left out of the film because we just overshot," Knoxville explained to MTV News. "That'll be in '[Jackass] 3.5,' coming out at Christmas," he said at the 2010 VMAs.
One can't help but wonder what 3-D stunts were too hot (or wet... or messy...) for the theatrical release, and we're sure whatever the gang cooked up will be completely family-appropriate for holiday DVD viewing. Or not.
Another thing "Jackass" fans will be experiencing for the first time is a clean and sober Steve-O, who seems plenty pumped for his post-rehab debut. "I can't wait. It's going to be awesome," Steve-O told MTV at the VMAs. "We made a great movie. Everybody's gonna love it. People are gonna be waiting to see how being sober and filming 'Jackass' is different [for me]," he added. "Being clearheaded and sober makes it more painful, more scary and the first thing I say is, 'I'm Steve-O, why do I have to be Steve-O?'"
Are you excited to see "Jackass 3" next week and to take in the crazier, poopier "Jackass 3.5" this holiday season? Tell us in the comments!

Jon [...]
Harry, Ron and Hermione may find some of those elusive Horcruxes in "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1," but there is one thing they won't find, no matter how hard they look: a third dimension. And neither will the audience.
Warner Bros. announced today that "Deathly Hallows: Part 1" will not -- repeat, will NOT -- be released in 3-D as originally planned because the conversion to the format would not be completed by the film's November 19 release date.
"Despite everyone's best efforts, we were unable to convert the film in its entirety and meet the highest standards of quality," the studio said in a statement. "We do not want to disappoint fans who have long-anticipated the conclusion of this extraordinary journey, and to that end, we are releasing our film day-and-date on November 19, 2010 as planned. We, in alignment with our filmmakers, believe this is the best course to take in order to ensure that our audiences enjoy the consummate 'Harry Potter' experience."
Producer David Heyman and director David Yates backed the studio's decision. "For 10 years, we have worked alongside Alan Horn and the studio, whose priority has always been to preserve the integrity of Jo Rowling's books as we have adapted them to the screen," Heyman said in a statement. "This decision reflects that commitment."
Added Yates: "This decision, which we completely support, underscores the fact that Warner Bros. has always put quality first." Gotta love the show of unity, but that's to be expected from the people making the movie. The big question is: How will fans react?
We've never been huge supporters of converting movies to 3-D after the fact -- at best it can be unnecessary; at worst it can be "Clash of the Titans" -- but if it had been done properly, we wouldn't have minded some 3-D wizardry for "Deathly Hallows: Part 1." Still, it doesn't affect our enthusiasm for the film at all. We're just as pumped now as we were when we woke up this morning.
Of course, we will be treated to some three-dimensional "Potter" fun beginning July 15, 2011: "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2" is still on tap for both 2-D and 3-D versions.
Are you bummed... or glad that "Deathly Hallows: Part 1" won't be in 3-D?

We're just dying to hear what is coming next!
Britney Spears' manager, Larry Rudolph, has high praise for his client's upcoming album, which he announces to Entertainment Weekly could be in on our iPods as soon as "early next year." He admits that most of this years has been spent "getting back to basics" for Brit-Brit (aka being a mommy and a proper-functioning person of society.) But now, she's completely in a "new album cycle" and he says we can expect a very "progessive" sound from our diva in her new music. He promises,“It’ll be a departure from what you’ve heard."
Hope not too much! We're all for maturing with your music, but we want some killer dance tracks on this album! Don't leave us hanging, BB!

It doesn't take millions of dollars, groundbreaking special effects or the name George Lucas to make a "Star Wars" movie. As a new video from Vimeo's Eric Power proves, all an aspiring filmmaker needs to create some movie magic is a stack of construction paper, some serious skills with a pair of scissors and a nice assist from the Jeremy Messersmith song "Tatooine."
The resulting short film uses surprisingly sophisticated construction-paper animation to retell the entire original "Star Wars" trilogy, taking us from Princess Leia's imparting of a perilous mission to R2-D2 to the droids' arrival on the desert planet of Tatooine, through the blowing-up of the first Death Star, the revelatory light-saber battle in Cloud City and young Skywalker's bone-crunching battle with the Rancor, to the final showdown between Luke and Vader -- all in less than three minutes. There are no words in the clip other than the lyrics to Messersmith's haunting tune, which evokes chills of nostalgia for our childhood heretofore reserved only for John Williams' expertly crafted score. In other words, the Force is strong with this one.
Check out the "Star Wars" video below and let us know what you think of it in the comments!

Kevin Smith Debuts 'Red State' Poster, Says He Screened Finished Film At The Wrap Party
Two days after finishing up the 25-day shoot on his new horror flick "Red State," the "Clerks" and "Chasing Amy" director held a wrap party, during which he screened a finished cut of the film for the cast and crew. That's right -- the freaking thing was completely edited and even included [...]
FROM SPLASH PAGE: The road toward a brand new "Superman" movie is a long one, but it's gotten shorter thanks to the involvement of director Zack Snyder. The filmmaker, already known amongst comic book fans for his work on "300" and "Watchmen," is set to put his stamp on the Man of Steel for the character's 2012 big screen revamp — but that doesn't mean he was always considered the front runner to direct the Christopher Nolan-produced film.
Indeed, several directors were considered for the "Superman" reboot, with "Back to the Future" helmer Robert Zemeckis listed as one of them. But in a recent interview with MTV News, Zemeckis thoroughly downplayed his rumored involvement with the iconic DC Entertainment property.
"I passed on that faster than a speeding bullet," he told MTV News about his brief connection to "Superman." See what else Zemeckis had to say about the "Superman" reboot on Splash Page.
Would Zemeckis have been a good choice to direct "Superman"? Tell us in the comments!

Neil Patrick Harris And His Partner Welcome Twins
A federal judge revoked rapper T.I.’s probation Friday and ordered him back to prison for 11 months following his arrest last month in California on suspicion of drug possession.
The Atlanta native, whose real name is Clifford Harris Jr., was on probation after serving 10 months behind bars on federal weapons charges.
“I think Mr. Harris had had about the limit of second chances,” U.S. District Court Judge Charles Pannell Jr. said in court, according to a report by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
During the hearing, T.I. begged the judge not to send him back to prison, saying he needed to get help for drug addiction. He told the judge he “screwed up” and pleaded for mercy.
“I screwed up big time, and I’m sorry. I’m truly and sincerely sorry. I don’t want and I don’t need to use drugs anymore. I want them out of my life,” Harris told the judge, the Journal-Constitution reported.
The Associated Press was relying on information from the newspaper because the judge closed the courtroom after it was filled and several media outlets including AP were not allowed inside.
Pannell wasn’t swayed by the rapper’s plea.
The judge had said T.I.’s sentence was an “experiment” he hoped to replicate if it worked. The rapper was allowed to stay out of prison while performing 1,000 hours of community service, mostly talking with schoolchildren about the dangers of gangs, drugs and violence.
“You certainly dumped a lot of smut on the whole experiment,” Pannell told T.I.
The Grammy Award-winning artist is one of the biggest names in hip-hop, with multiple platinum-selling albums and singles, production credits and roles in films like “ATL” and “American Gangster.”
After the hearing, U.S. Attorney Sally Quillian Yates said she was disappointed with T.I.
“We had hoped that this would be a new, innovative opportunity,” she told AP. “We’re not giving up on Mr. Harris, but … if you veer off the road of redemption, there are consequences.”
The rapper, wearing a gray three-piece suit, walked out of court with family and friends, leaving the building through a back exit without speaking to reporters.
He is expected to surrender voluntarily to authorities Nov. 1. As a condition of his release earlier this year, he was ordered not to commit another federal, state or local crime while on supervised release, or to illegally possess a controlled substance. He was also told to take at least three drug tests after his release and to participate in a drug and alcohol treatment program.
Yates urged the judge to consider a sentence of two years in prison. She said T.I. submitted diluted urine samples and told his probation officer he had used ecstasy at least three times since leaving prison.
T.I’s attorneys argued that after reviewing nearly 250 cases with similar charges, none of those people were put back behind bars for violating probation, Crosby said. Additionally, the attorneys told the judge that Harris was addicted to drugs and has attempted to turn his life around since leaving prison.
T.I.’s label, Atlantic Records, put out a statement: “T.I. is such an important and valued member of our Atlantic family. We offer to him and his family our continued love and support during this very difficult time.”
Earlier this week, Atlanta police said T.I. helped them talked a suicidal man down from a skyscraper. The rapper heard about the man on the radio and drove over to see if he could help.
The man agreed to come down from the 22-story building in exchange for a few minutes with the rapper, authorities said. They added he recorded a cell phone video of himself that was shown to the man by rescue workers to prove he was really there.
T.I. rejected suggestions that his intervention was a stunt to gain advance favor with the court.
Atlanta Police Department spokesman Officer James Polite testified at Friday’s hearing about being present when T.I. lent his assistance.
“We believed it was genuine,” Polite said of Harris’ offer to help. “He gave words of encouragement and was an intricate part of having that situation safely and quickly resolved.”

3-D Version of Beatles' 'Yellow Submarine' To Shoot In April 2011, Says Star Cary Elwes
--By Kristen Shalbinkski
"The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers" returned to the silver screen at Radio City Music Hall this October 8 and 9 for a special two-night-only engagement. The best part? The screenings featured a live symphony orchestra playing the entire score along with the movie. Ludwig Wicki conducted the orchestra, which included over 300 musicians from the 21st Century Symphony Orchestra, the Brooklyn Youth Choir and Dessoff Symphonic Choir.
Now after seeing the film with live musical accompaniment, I have to say this is what a 3-D movie should be like. Forget about cool special effects jumping out at you. Having the orchestra perched directly beneath the screen and playing the score to perfection added another layer of emotion to the film to accompany the already eye-popping 2-D visuals. The "Two Towers" soundtrack is amazing alone, but hearing it performed live in person gives you a greater appreciation for both the music and the movie.
At certain points during the film, I found that I was completely focused on the orchestra, and at other times I forgot that they were even there because the music was so on point. I even got the chills during the film, especially feeling the music's effect during the scenes in Rohan, Helm's Deep and Forth Eorlingas when Gandalf, Éomer and the Rohirim come charging down on the Orcs at Helm's Deep. Everyone in the audience was clapping and cheering during these moments and throughout the entire film.
After the end credits concluded, Ludwig Wicki and the rest of the orchestra received a standing ovation. And the crowd rose to its feet once again when the man himself, Howard Shore -- who composed the music for all three films -- came out on stage to thunderous applause.
For any fan of the "Lord of the Rings" or of great orchestral music... or both, this was a night that will not be soon forgotten. So plan ahead and remember to get tickets to "Return of the King," which will hit Radio City with a live symphony orchestra next year.
Will you be lining up to see "Return of the King" with a live symphony orchestra next year?

'Inception' Star Tom Hardy To Reteam With Christopher Nolan For 'Batman 3'
Deadline reports that Nolan has recruited his "Inception" collaborator Tom Hardy for a lead role in "Batman 3," which is expected [...]
In case the just-released footage of Eric Stoltz as the original Marty McFly wasn't enough to get you screaming "1.21 gigawatts!," here's some more "Back to the Future" awesomeness: a newly shot "Back to the Future" teaser trailer starring the man who replaced Stoltz behind the wheel of the time-traveling DeLorean, Michael J. Fox.
The new clip was shot to hype the "Back to the Future" reunion taking place at Spike's 2010 Scream Awards on October 19. Cast members Fox, Lea Thompson (Marty's mom Lorraine) and Elizabeth Shue (Marty's girlfriend Jennifer... from "Back to the Future: Part II" and "Part III," but not the original) will gather on stage to celebrate the original film's 25th anniversary.
The new teaser is basically a shot-for-shot remake of the film's original 1985 trailer... but with one very big difference at the end... which you can check out for yourself.
Seeing Fox in the Marty getup after all this time is enough to make one nostalgic for the film. Luckily the "Back to the Future" Trilogy 25th Anniversary collection is traveling onto Blu-ray and DVD October 26. Until then, cross your fingers that Crispin Glover's George McFly, Christopher Lloyd's Doc Brown and Tom Wilson's Biff Tanen show up for the Scream Awards. A reunion without those guys might make us want to make like a tree and get the hell outta there.
What do you think of the new "Back to the Future" teaser trailer? Are you psyched for the movie to special edition on Blu-ray and DVD?

David Burtka: Neil Patrick Harris’ Boyfriend
The man respected as one of Time Magazines 100 Most Influential People of 2010 announced [...]
TI was sentenced to 11 months in prison today for violating the terms of his probation. He has had a wild last few months. Get the full update here, and see photos and video below.
Two steps forward, three steps back. It looks like TIP is headed back to the slammer—this time for nearly a year.
After recently being released from a stint in prison for weapons charges, he claimed to be a changed man. You could feel it in his music. The hit track ‘Dead and Gone’ featuring Justin Timberlake had redemption written all over it.
He even scaled back his slang and delivery, substituting his twangy Southern style for a markedly more mature flow. The content of the song spoke to his change in attitude—and it really felt like he meant it.
He also worked on a special for MTV called ‘Road To Redemption,’ which followed him as he tried to reach out to other ‘at risk’ youngsters. Throw in a serious relationship with Tameka Cottle and I was convinced he had turned the corner.
Then came September 2010. TI and his wife were cruising through LA when they were stopped by police. After conducting a search of his vehicle, they discovered a substance that was later proven to be Ecstasy. On top of that, the rapper tested positive for opiates. To make things even worse, he was busted for ‘associating with a felon,’ who was in the car with him at the time of the incident.
Following that arrest, he was scheduled for a probation hearing in Atlanta on October 15th. Just a few days before the hearing took place, TI pulled off a miraculous move, saving a suicidal man from the ledge of a 22 story building. That news sailed through the middle of the week, painting him as a hero.
Sadly, the week will now end with stories of his prison sentence. He is scheduled to turn himself in to authorities in about two weeks.
Check out some photos and video related to TI being sentenced to 11 months in prison below. What are your thoughts?
